The Clinical Solutions Specialist role supports 7D Surgical’s innovative products in the operating room, working closely with clinicians. This role requires a candidate with a strong work ethic, high technical aptitude, strong problem solving and good communication. In addition, the ideal candidate must be a “people person,” forming good relationships with surgeons and operating room staff, as well as establishing credibility and trust quickly. As a representative of 7D Surgical’s new technology, the Clinical Solutions Specialist will play an important role in bringing its benefits to patients by working in operating rooms and other clinical settings to train and support our users.

7D Surgical provides a collaborative environment where you will work with some of the most innovative engineers and experts in the medical device industry. We are looking for talented biomedical engineers or other health sciences majors looking to join our team and use their technical expertise to provide a real clinical impact.

Responsibilities

  • Become a product expert of 7D Surgical’s technology offering
  • Advise surgeons and staff on all aspects of the technology and products
  • Be a resource to hospitals, managing customer requests, feedback, and support
  • Work closely with sales, providing assistance with clinical evaluations, demonstrations, trade-shows, and lead generation
  • Translate customer feedback, issues, and requests to Engineering and Quality and Regulatory teams

Qualifications

  • Based in the New England area
  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related medical/health/clinical sciences degree
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong communication of technical subjects to a wide range of audiences
  • Quick analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Independent worker, strong work ethic, an self-motivated
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the United States

We are looking for a passionate and creative Research Coordinator. As the primary sponsor liaison and advocate, the Research Coordinator requires experience in pre-clinical and clinical trials, research studies, grant writing, peer-reviewed publications, key account management and cadaver studies. Utilizing existing templates, processes and programs as a guide, they will adapt/develop, implement, monitor and be accountable for project protocols, operational plans, risk management, resources, project tools/materials, documents and timelines

As part of our team, you will be integrated directly into our research & development teams and exposed to our product development lifecycle to play a role in shaping our commercial products. In addition, you will have the opportunity to observe surgical cases and see first-hand how our products are helping patients.

Responsibilities

  • Apply consultative skills to assist investigators with study feasibility assessments, protocol development, planning & implementation of research studies
  • Apply advanced knowledge of research regulations, guidelines & best practices to ensure the ongoing oversight & management of research studies, specifically in the areas of regulatory & ethics compliance, protocol compliance, data management, quality assurance, financial sustainability, and congruency between protocols, budgets & contractual agreements
  • Design, write, and management of research grants
  • Organize and execute cadaver labs
  • Manage comparative research initiatives with 3rd party imaging and research organizations
  • Document and communicate issues found during pre-clinical & clinical testing to facilitate corrective action by product engineers
  • Interface directly with surgeons and clinical staff

Qualifications

  • At minimum, a completion of a Bachelor’s degree program, MSc or PhD from an engineering or medical discipline is an asset
  • One (1) to Three (3) years clinical and/or professional experience, and
  • At least 1 year experience in medical imaging clinical trials & study budgeting
  • Advanced knowledge of clinical research best practices, regulations & guidelines, experience with Investigator-initiated studies preferred
  • First hand experience with intraoperative imaging modalities (CT, MR) and image guided surgery
  • Possess leadership and managerial skills and have recognized experience in these areas
  • Excellent conflict resolution, team building, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization, prioritization skills, good computer skills, ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
  • Excellent critical-thinking, decision-making, problem-solving & negotiation skills
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks

We are looking for talent! Our company is seeking a Software Tester, with experience in testing systems integrated software. and Our software system implements state-of-the-art scientific and visualization algorithms, and interfaces with proprietary hardware and tools designed for surgical applications. Our environment is regulated by the international IEC 62304 standard for the development of medical software.

As part of our team, you will be integrated directly in the product development lifecycle and play a critical role in shaping the final product. In addition, you will have the opportunity to observe surgical cases and see first-hand how our products are helping patients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute software test cases based on requirements and test plans
  • Provide input to requirements to ensure testability
  • Create and maintain the traceability between requirement and test cases.
  • Report and communicate issues to the development team
  • Perform System Integration and regression testing
  • Prepare verification reports including traceability in compliance with the quality process
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience testing customer-facing software, preferably in the medical device related field
  • Healthy obsession over product quality
  • Find joy in discovering flaws in system and software, and in working with developers and stakeholders to improve the product
  • Creative in breaking things and curious about how and why they break
  • Familiar with software testing methodologies including exploratory, user acceptance (UAT), system integration (SIT), and regression
  • Experience using issue tracking software such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, ClearQuest
